Unfortunately, I believe only RootsMagic and FTM currently have a full sync option. I do find it useful to sync a basic tree with my Ancestry account, as cousin bait and for DNA matching. Anything you find on Ancestry you should save your own copy of. If you're going to be serious you need a way to save your own tree and properly site all your sources. I believe Gramps is available for the Mac, as well as RootsMagic.
